Unit Description:

Seeking flexible work arrangements? If so, Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to work part-time (3 days/week) covering for shift and weekend coverage at a 700+ bed blue-chip account in Tallahassee Florida. Benefits included!

- The ideal candidate will work with a dynamic team of 5 RD's in the acute-care area.
- Responsible for covering staffing shift vacancies & support of weekend RD.
- Must be able to perform basic nutrition assessments/re-assessments, nutrition educations. Actual work schedule is negotiable.
- Familiarity with EMR charting, proficient with NCP & ADIME style care planning.
- Experience with diabetic, cardiac, renal populations a plus.
- Familiarity with the Nutrition Care Process and Electronic Health Records is a plus.
- FL. licensure required but can be obtained once hired.
- The hired candidate must be a self-starter, a team player, and possess good time management skills.
- Chosen candidate must be able to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.

Position Summary:
Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
